Fisherman's view of Retevis marine radio

You should tell your friends or family before fishing or paddleboarding. During the epidemic, more and more people feel that staying at home is boring, but they want to maintain social distance. Gradually like fishing or paddleboarding at sea. This is the experience shared by our customer.

Nikao has been using Retevis marine radio to pursue his fishing and coastal foraging hobbies. He uses a RA27 fixed marine VHF radio on his boat and a RM40 as a portable safety device.

During the epidemic period, he offen drove his boat to go fishing, sometimes with friends, sometimes he is alone. But whether alone or with others, he always carries the marine radio and checks whether the radio is normal before departure. When I asked him why he did it, he answered me like this:

“when doing your coastal pursuit, whether fishing or paddleboarding, you should do three things to keep yourself safe.

1tell someone where you plan to be and your planned route.

2get yourself a good quality reliable VHF mariner adio, I have a Retevis RA27 fixed marine radio on my boat and a portable RM40.

3wear a floatation device such as a self-inflating life jacket.

He added, “I like both my Retevis marine radios because they are a nice size and intuitive to use. RM40 is waterproof and float. So, if you fall of your boat or kayak, the radio will float, you can attach it toyou with a length of rope or something to stop it floating away, it will start to flash allowing you to locate it easier in the dark.”

The audio on the radio is extremely impressive. All round, he love his Reteivs marine radio and he wouldn’t go out to sea or out on the coast without marine radaio.
